| Threaded Eyes are most commonly
used when you are retrofitting your existing headstay to use with a
Profurl furling system.
Simply remove your incompatible lower
turnbuckle stud, and swap it with a threaded eye. You will
then be able to pass the Profurl pin through the eye and a double
jaw toggle. Pictured at right is a properly assembled Profurl
system.
Most lower turnbuckle studs are left hand
threaded. If you are rotating your turnbuckle body clockwise
(when viewed from above) to loosen the turnbuckle, your lower stud
is left hand thread. |
