NavNet Cables & Adaptors

The Furuno NavNet system utilizes 10-Base T Network technology. You can configure a two display system with Furuno Ethernet cables that have a 6 Pin plug on each end connecting the two displays. For systems with more than two displays, you will need to install an Ethernet Hub. Ethernet Hubs and Cables are available in most office supply stores at very reasonable prices.

If you are installing an Ethernet Hub, you will need a Furuno Ethernet Cable which plugs into each display, and either a Furuno Hub Adaptor for a waterproof connection to the Furuno cable from the display, or a Furuno Display Adapter if the connection to the Furuno cable from the display does not need to be waterproof. Both the Hub Adaptor and Display Adaptor can then be connected to any standard 10-Base Ethernet cable with an RJ-45 plug.
