TPM Wetsuits

All Gill wetsuits are designed specifically for dinghy sailing. Thermal Protection Material is a high density neoprene that protects the upper torso against the cooling effects of the wind and water. The denser face of the fabric is solid and will reflect wind and water. There are two different types of TPM on the suits. One is the C-mesh - this is a thicker neoprene with a raised loop back for comfort and warmth. This is strategically placed on the chest and upper back. On the shoulder areas Gill has added gravel skin TPM. This is a slightly thinner neoprene than the C-mesh and stretchier for required movement. Gravel skin TPM is also more durable than conventional neoprene, so withstands harness abrasion.
