Drip Control Bronze Thru Hulls

In above waterline drain applications, choose between a drip control installation and a flush mount installation. In the drip control installation, the fitting protrudes slightly from the hull.  As water flow through the fitting ceases, the last drops fall cleanly from the tapered edge of the fitting.

In the flush installation, a cleaner profile is obtained, but if the installation is above the waterline, unsightly stains are likely to appear over time between the fitting and the waterline. The flush installation is, however, ideal for below waterline installations where the serious sailor wishes to reduce drag.
