Carbo T2™ Soft-Attach Blocks

The high-strength composite T2™ is the first block with no metal shackles or rivets. It is used for traveler controls, mainsheets and vangs, cascades, bridles, and other systems where small, lightweight blocks are called for.

T2 blocks come in two styles. One uses a loop, the other a length of line. Both route the attachment line through the block head and sheave, decreasing the load on the sideplates and acting as a safety backup for the system.

The composite sheave spins freely on ball bearings with curved bearing races. Composite sideplates are fiber-reinforced, high-strength nylon resin.

T2™ Loop
The T2 Loop’s on/off loop system slides through the block head and over the anchor post for a secure connection. A SK75 Dyneema® loop is included. Replacement loops available.

T2™
The T2 can be tied, spliced, or lashed to almost anything. A length of Spectra® line is included.

Carbo T18™ Soft-Attach Block

The T18™ complements the T2™ line. At 7.2 g (.25 oz), it ties, splices, lashes anywhere—perfect for downhauls, outhauls, and other lightweight control systems on dinghies, skiffs, and beachcats. Composite sheave and sideplates, stainless steel ball bearings, integrated stainless inner race and rivet for optimal strength-to-weight.
