Black Magic Loop Blocks

Soft attachment Loop blocks are now available in the Harken® Big Boat Black Magic® block line. Standard on America’s Cup and Grand Prix yachts, lightweight soft attachments are the structural component that carries the primary load, and as a result the block is lighter weight because it uses less material. Sophisticated engineering prevents the block from capsizing during intermittent loading.

Roller bearing Loop blocks are highly efficient and are used where constant adjustment is required, such as sheets, halyards, running backstays, and control lines. Soft attachments fasten to padeyes and other support structures without splicing.

Torlon® roller bearings are housed in a self-contained center cage to keep them parallel for low-friction efficiency and easy maintenance. UV-resistant Delrin® ball bearings carry thrust loads.
