| Some
Important Points |
Do
not apply more than one coat. Do not apply in excess of 0.5 mils DFT.
Excess film thickness will lead to delamination and splitting. Be
careful not to leave puddles in deep sanding tracks. Do not use a cloth
to remove blast residue as the cloth may leave fibers behind which can
cause wicking of moisture through the primer system and cause premature
failure. Product temperature should be minimum 10°C/50°F and maximum
29°C/85°F. Ambient temperature should be minimum 10°C/50°F and
maximum 35°C/95°F. Substrate temperature should be minimum 10°C/50°F
and maximum 29°C/85°F. |
|
|
| Compatibility/Substrates |
Apply
over bare metal only. Metal surface must be thoroughly dry and free of
all rust, mill-scale, grease, oil and paint. Sandblasting, power wire
brushing and grinding with medium grade (grit) emery cloth are the best
methods of cleaning. Do not use coarse sandpaper or grinding wheels. |
