SafeLink Solo PLB with GPS

The SafeLink SOLO is a 406MHz beacon which operates on the global COSPAS SARSAT satellite communication system, supported by international government search and rescue authorities around the world. The SOLO is subscription free and does not rely on commercial call centres. It has integral 50-channel GPS which is constantly updated, ensuring that you can be accurately located, thus speeding up the time of rescue. The SafeLink SOLO PLB also transmits on the 121.5MHz homing frequency so that when the emergency services get close they can 'home in' on the signal. Once activated, the SafeLink SOLO PLB will transmit constantly for a minimum of 24 hours, and will operate at temperatures down to -20°C. It also has an SOS LED flashing light that the user can switch on to aid rescue in the dark.

SafeLink SOLO is waterproof to 10 metres and activation is simple. It is supplied complete with a lanyard, a buoyancy pouch and a universal carry pouch; which can be attached to a belt or strap, keeping the SOLO close to hand, in case a life threatening situation necessitates alerting search and rescue organizations.

The new Safelink Pro Personal Location Beacon (PLB) has a minimum 48 hour operational battery life at temperatures as low as -20°c. Safelink Pro battery packs have a five year storage life and are user replaceable.

The Safelink Pro Category 1 floating PLB is designed to be carried by individuals as a last resort safeguard against any life threatening incidents that may occur anywhere in the world. Whether alone or within a group, on holiday, at work, carrying out your sport or hobby, if you ever find yourself in a remote area without any other form of communication, the Safelink Pro PLB comes into its own.

Safelink Pro floats and is waterproof to 10m and designed to withstand the harshest of environments while still being extremely easy to operate and small enough to carry with you at all times.

SafeLink R10 SRS
(Survivor Recovery System)

The SafeLink R10 SRS (Survivor Recovery System) is the first of its kind, a personal AIS (Automatic Identification System) device designed to be fitted to a lifejacket and assist in Man Overboard recovery.

The SafeLink R10 SRS is specifically designed as a personal search and rescue locating device, it enables those on board a vessel with an AIS chart plotter* to quickly and efficiently locate and retrieve a missing crew member.

The SafeLink R10 transmits target survivor information, including structured alert messages, GPS position information and a unique serialised identity number back to the onboard plotter*. An inbuilt high precision GPS receiver provides accurate position information to assist in quick recovery of survivors.
