Through a combination of geometry, sheave ratios and a unique Free Spin bearing, the Synchro range delivers performance to within a hairs breadth of that achieved by ball and roller bearing blocks used in pro racing — but at a fraction of the price.

Lewmar’s Synchro range is the result of a complete re-think of block design. The new range transforms performance levels in terms of speed, efficiency and handling. Scientifically optimized block geometry, a revolutionary Free-Spin bearing and a self aligning head combine to reduce friction and improve efficiency levels by up to 40% over a conventional mainsheet system. The result is that each component is synchronized with the movement of the rope – providing an easier, smoother transfer of power from deck to sail – and all with less wear on the rope.
