V Series Windlasses

Lewmar introduces the first compact stainless steel windlass for power and sail boats. The beautifully styled deck unit conceals a robust, reliable drive train, worm gearbox, and splined shaft for maximum strength and control. Rope-chain or all-chain anchor rodes may be employed at the touch of a button, while the fully machined, low profile gypsy will keep your ropes in beautiful condition for years to come.

Lewmar’s uniquely pioneered production methods have achieved a deck unit which is both more affordable and 60% lighter, two achievements that would not normally be associated with stainless steel. Lewmar's new V Series windlasses are FastFit equipped. Fastfit ensures quick, hassle-free installation and proper drive shaft alignment. and splined shaft for maximum strength and control. Rope-chain or all-chain anchor rodes may be employed at the touch of a button, whilst the fully machined, low profile gypsy will keep your ropes in beautiful condition for years to come.

Each of the windlasses on this page is package as a kit with a dual-direction solenoid, circuit breaker and rocker switch.
