AnchorMax

An extremely versatile capstan or general purpose winch for use as an anchor winch, pot hauler or davit winch. The Anchor Max has an extremely high power to weight ratio. The compact, fully-sealed gearbox is driven by a vertically mounted, high-efficiency permanent magnet motor. Intrusion below decks is minimized making the design ideal for boats from 16 ft. to 32 ft. Fitting to the boat is simple because no dismantling of the winch is required.

The winch is designed for clockwise rotation only. The winch is not fitted with a locking mechanism to prevent back running. Do not allow the winch to stall or labor. The winch is not designed to be a mooring point.

The winch motor should not be allowed to exceed 70 C (very warm to the touch). Working duration of the winch should not excedd 5 minutes or demagnetization of the permanant magnets may cause motor failure.
