automatic handling of chain only anchor rodes while providing independent
rope handling ability.

Features
- Fully automatic single, or dual direction
operation.
- High-quality finish on above-deck components.
Heavy chrome over marine-grade alloy bronze.
- Integral chain pipe and stripper are aligned
for virtually jam-free operation providing automatic feed of chain
into and out of the anchor locker.
- Port and starboard chainpipes for twin
installations. Sizes 2200 & above only.
- Cone-type brake/clutch mechanism permits
manual "free-fall" anchoring. Cone clutches,
unlike dog clutches, provide smooth progressive engagement
ensuring safe and precise operator control.
- Chain wheel locking pawl. Except 500
and 800 Series).
- Rope hauling from any direction using
independent 'MAX-grip' warping drum with clutch disengagement of
chain wheel.
- Simplified through deck installation by
modular design and precise alignment of gearbox to the top works utilizing
marine-grade stainless steel studs.
- The gearbox has a high efficiency output
drive with heavy duty wide face, precision, bronze spur gears in a
sealed oil bath. (Specifications differ depending on prime mover
and winch rating).
- Marine grade alloy gearbox housing, finished
with a two coat paint system.
- Oil level sight glass/drain plug for
inspection and gearbox oil change.
- Heavy duty, dual direction motor, designed
for marine winches. Isolated ground type, with durable
class F insulation.
- Low profile configurations (no warping drum)
are available.

alternative snubbing system to hold the anchor in the full raised position
while underway.)

- Larger vertical windlasses with capstan available
(refer Maxwell Superyacht)
