Ocean Commander Immersion Suit

Surviving in oceans, lakes or rivers depends on the water’s temperature and your insulating protection. Effective protective clothing like the Ocean Commander minimize heat loss to the water. Hood, face seal and watertight zippers prevent water from intruding. Seams are welded, not glued, thereby maximizing their waterproof qualities. Liners are constructed of AirSoft™ closed cell foam that traps air and helps reduce heat loss. Both of these suits are meticulously designed to give you maximum survival time. In fact, they give you a good chance at life.

Inflatable Head Pillow
Supports the head at an optimum flotation angle and provides additional buoyancy.

Detachable Mitts
5 mm neoprene mitts provide warmth and stow in sleeve pockets. Mitts can be quickly removed when dexterity is crucial.

Welded Nylon Outer Shell
Provides waterproofness. High performance urethane coated nylon exterior makes repairs and cleaning easier.

Detachable Inner Buoyancy Liner
Constructed of closed-cell AirSoft™ foam for maximum flotation and thermal insulation. Liner can be un-snapped and removed for in-the-field repairs and cleaning.

Compact Storage Case
Storage volume has been reduced by 17% compared to a conventional neoprene suit (IS-3).

Non-slip Soles
Durable rubber soles provide traction on wet surfaces.
