Angle Guard Pedestal Guards

NavPod Angle Guards are designed to upgrade sailboat steering systems and accomodate mounting electronics onto NavPods.

Edson is a popular manufacturer of steering systems who has always used a 9.5" wide pedestal guard.  Most of their pedestal guards are 1" in diameter.  Lewmar (formerly Whitlock) also has manufactured steering systems that use the 9.5" wide format.  Navpod supplies the SG10 and AG 10 as an easy retrofit onto either of these systems.

For a clean and secure method of concealing wires and to accommodate large connectors and heavy radar cables within the Stainless Steel tubes, NavPod recommends the larger 1.25" diameter Angle Guards.  Often the existing top plate needs to be bored out or replaced with the TP125 to accommodate the larger diameter.

Polished stainless steel mounting feet are supplied with all 1.25" Angle Guards.  Straight Guards are supplied without feet.
