Navtec hydraulics help make your sailing easier by by giving you the control you need at your fingertips.  The most frequently controlled functions are the backstay and the boom vang.  There are, however, many other functions which can be controlled by Navtec hydraulic systems.

Your boat's performance can be greatly enhanced by a properly tensioned backstay.  A straighter headstay will minimize the friction in your roller furling gear, allowing it to turn smoothly.

Navtec vangs offer you cockpit control of mainsail twist.  The return force in Navtec's vangs eliminates the need for a topping lift, and allows you to lift the weight of the boom off the leech of the main in light air.
