GPSMap 440

This sleek chartplotter offers big capability in a small package. The GPSMAP 440 features an ultra-bright 4” QVGA display and a built-in, satellite-enhanced worldwide basemap. Add even more mapping capabilities with the optional BlueChart® g2 Vision card.

The 440 has preloaded detailed maps that cover all U.S. coastal areas, including Alaska and Hawaii. For areas outside the U.S., the 440 has a worldwide basemap with satellite images in place of more traditional maps, and its SD card slot makes it easy to add additional maps without connecting to a computer. With fewer keys and a simple, intuitive interface, the 440 makes navigating your way through the water easy.

The worldwide basemap on the 440 can be enhanced with the optional BlueChart® g2 Vision card, which provides high-resolution aerial reference photos for help navigating tricky harbors and channels — or locating spots like area marinas, fuel stops or restaurants.

The g2 Vision plug-in data card also allows the GPSMAP 440 to graphically depict a true 3D “mariner’s eye” topside view or “fish eye” underwater navigation perspective.

Simplify navigation with Auto Guidance

Optional g2 Vision auto guidance technology will help simplify your navigation. It’s like having a knowledgeable guide to local hazards and waterways always on deck. Auto Guidance searches all the chart features to suggest the best known charted route for navigation.

Enjoy added functionality of sonar and XM Weather

The 440s version comes with powerful dual frequency or dual beam sonar to clearly paint depth contours, fish targets, structure, etc. It’s also CANet™ capable, allowing sounder data to be shared with other plotter displays on your boat.

XM Weather versions of the 440 and 440s also are available. The 440x and 440sx are capable of displaying comprehensive graphical weather data. XM WX Satellite Weather delivers location-specific, animated, high-resolution weather data, in chart-overlay form, directly to your plotter.
