Pintles & Gudgeons

Schaefer Dinghy and Small Keel Boat pintles come in two lengths, making it possible to insert them in the gudgeons one at a time.  The Medium-Duty pintles are most commonly known as "J/24 Type" with separate pins and welded pintle straps contained between an upper and lower gudgeon strap.  The Heavy -Duty design features integral Nomex bearings to compensate for the high side loading forces.
