Anchor Rodes

Lewmar’s Anchor Rodes are designed to complement the rope chain gypsies fitted to all their windlasses. Calibrated for even pitch, the chain is hot dipped galvanized to minimize corrosion and is welded for high strength. The specially treated 3-Strand medium lay nylon rope is spliced to chain with a tapered back splice which allows smooth transition from rope to chain around the gypsy. This arrangement ensures the smooth running of your windlass, while hand sewn whipping guarantees against unraveling.
