Purchasing Sails Online
Purchasing PC Cruising Sails online or by phone is pretty much
the same as ordering from your local sailmaker, and our policies
regarding warranty, returns and cancellations are all in keeping
with industry standards.
Terms of Sale
PC Cruising Sails are fabricated to order from standardized sail
designs. Please allow four to six weeks for delivery. We
require a 50% deposit when you place your order, with the balance
due prior to delivery.
Warranty
PC Cruising Sails carry a one year manufacturer's warranty for
defects in materials and workmanship. Because you are
responsible for obtaining the measurements required to ensure an acceptable
fit, we can not guarantee the fit of the sail. We do guarantee,
however, that the sails will be built to +/- 1% of the
dimensions in our product descriptions.
Claims
If a manufacturing defect is discovered within 30 days of delivery,
we will issue a UPS call tag and repair the sail at no cost to
you. After 30 days, you will be required to pay any shipping
costs related to returning your sail for repair. In some
cases, you will be able to bring the sail to your local UK loft, and
we will authorize them to perform the required warranty work.
Returns
Because PC Cruising Sails are built to order, they are not
returnable. If the product is not acceptable, we reserve the
right to repair or replace it at our discretion.
Cancellations
You can cancel your order at any time prior to delivery. If
sail production has not started, you will receive a full
refund. If production has been started, you can still cancel
your order, but you forfeit your deposit. |
