Ice Eaters

Powerhouse Ice Eater Brand De-icers are designed to prevent ice formation around boats, marinas, floating docks, piers, pilings, boat houses, bulkheads, and fish and duck ponds. The propeller draws up warmer subsurface water and deflects it to the surface creating a constant circulation of warmer water that prevents ice formation. Will melt existing ice. Just cut a hole and lower the unit into place. 3 year warranty 120 volt, one phase, 60 cycle. Motor is UL and CSA approved. High quality motor is energy efficient Comes with two(2) 25' hollow braid lines with shackles

Coverage Area:
P-500 - 40' to 50' Diameter
P-750 - 50' to 60' Diameter
P-1000 - 60' to 70' Diameter

Remember that a unique feature of the Ice Eater is that you may direct the flow of water by simply taking one of the shackles off center.  The further off center, the more eliptical the de-icing pattern.  Instead of a 50' diameter, you may have a pattern 60' long by 40' wide.
