The combined advances in rope, materials, and computer technology have challenged RWO engineers to produce the most efficient cleat in the world. Unique teeth progression has been scientifically tested to offer similar amounts of holding power on small or large rope diameters. (Just try to use a smaller line for the same application, and hold it in your hand to get an idea of the grip required.) On older cams, just one or two teeth attempt to retain the rope, which as okay for the more forgiving, old-fashioned, softer rope. But the harder core, high-tech rope that is higher loaded under tension resists deformation. More teeth contact but at less depth means a kinder cleat to rope wear and easier entry and exit.

The front fairleads are sculptured to give the line most guided freedom. A choice of bright colored plastic helps to identify lines, and the stainless steel wire frame eliminates line through burn.

The top fairleads are available in polished stainless steel or plastic - being kind to the crew's bodies and clothing in a choice of bright colors to help line identification. Registered Design

Wedge kits are vavailable for both cams, giving an angle of 10°, 20°, and 30° for improved leads. Included are under-deck angled packer for thorough deck fastenings.
