Winchfeeders are placed behind clutches or adjacent to winches for cross winching of halyards or sheets. When a different winch is preferred, a line from one side can be lead quickly and efficiently to the opposite side around the open sheave. The low profile ensures that in normal operation the Winchfeeder does not get in the way. Spring retaining clips, and crossbars can be fitted to keep a line close to the Winchfeeder, and move the line to the sheave as it comes tight. |
