Invented by Ivor Barfield the STA-LOK self-fit terminal was first introduced at the London International Boat Show in 1973. Today STA-LOK Terminals Ltd has become one of the world’s leading designers, manufacturers and suppliers of high quality stainless steel rigging hardware.

The Sta-Lok system is a simple mechanical method of terminating 1 x 19, 7 x 7, 7 x 19 and compacted strand wire ropes. Suitable for both right hand and left hand lay constructions. The terminals can be fitted on site using very simple hand tools.

All Sta-Lok terminals listed on the Pyacht site are for 1 x 19 wire rope. If you need fittings for other wire rope constructions, please call.
