3 year waterproof warranty
If
the STANDARD HORIZON QUEST-X fails for any reason (including water damage)
during normal use for the first 3 years of ownership, STANDARD HORIZON will
repair or replace it free, without hassles or charges. If it fails for anytime
thereafter in normal use, for as long as the original purchaser owns the
radio, STANDARD Horizon's Lifetime Flat Rate and Customer Loyalty Service
Programs will cover it.

Display Shows Channel Names and
Repeats the GPS Information*
All
the information you need right at your fingertips. Customizable channel naming
allows you to easily change the channel name for greater ease of use and
better channel recognition. Position, date, and time are also displayed when
interfaced with a GPS receiver.
Lat/Lon and SOG/COG Display
When
interfaced with a GPS, position information is displayed on the LCD. This
makes sharing position information with other vessels or the coast guard
simple if you run into an emergency. Speed Over Ground and Course Over Ground
are also displayed to help keep you on track.
DSC Distress Call Automatically
Broadcasts Lat/Lon and Vessel ID*
Dedicated
DSC Distress button automatically transmits a DSC distress call to all DSC
equipped vessels within your VHF range. When interfaced with a GPS your
position is also transmitted to help expedite a rescue attempt. Seperate Class
D DSC receiver included.
DSC Position Request Function and
NMEA Data Input/Output
Easily
share position information with other DSC equipped vessels using the position
request and position sharing functions. With the push of a few buttons you can
request the position of another vessel, or simply send your position
information to the vessel you select.
Capable of Connecting the Optional
Enhanced RAM+ Second Station
Connect
the optional RAM+ second station Microphone to have a full functioning second
station. All of the features of the main radio can now be accessed through the
RAM+. Connect the VH-310 to have a full functioning Class D second station
fully equipped with an alpha-numeric keypad in a Telephone style handset.
Programmable Scan and CH16 Dual
Watch
Select
any of the channels you would like to scan with the press of a button. Select
Dual Watch to scan your selected channel and channel 16 simultaneously. This
way you will not miss any of the very important calls made on channel 16.
Similar to Dual Watch, Priority Scan allows scanning of more than one channel
with Channel 16
