We are very reasonable people when it comes to returns, but we do have the following policies.  You must complete our Return Authorization Form in order to receive a Return Authorization Number prior to sending us a return.  We will refuse delivery of any package not clearly marked with an RA number, and it will be returned to you.  We will not accept the return of any used, scratched, dented, soiled, or damaged items or items that are not in their original packaging with all component parts, literature and warranty cards included.

Items returned for a refund or exchange will be subject to a restocking charge based on the table below.

Special Order Returns

Because of the lead time required for delivery of special order items, we will inform you when you place your order that you have ordered a special order item and inform you that the return of the special order item is subject to the manufacturer's return policies.  Many special order items are non-returnable and those that are returnable carry restocking charges equal to or greater than those listed in the table above.

Non-returnable Products
Cut lengths of rope, cut lengths of wire, rigging fabricated to your specifications, custom-made products, sails, software, electronic charts, blister-packed products that have been opened, life rafts, flares, inflatable PFD's, night vision products and EPIRBS are not returnable.  Items that we ship to you that are considered
hazardous materials (HAZMAT's) are also non-returnable because it is illegal for you to ship them.  If a non-returnable item is defective, we will gladly repair or replace the item.  We will not accept the return of any item that is not in its original packaging with all manuals, original packing material and warranty cards in place.  We will not accept the return of clothing if the manufacturer's tags have been removed.  If clothing does not fit properly, we will gladly exchange the garment or accept a return provided the tags have not been removed.  We will not accept the return of any used items or items that are not in their original packaging with all parts, pieces and literature included.

While we do our best to promptly credit your account for returns, items that are not in condition for immediate resale (
i.e. open boxes) will be subject to manufacturer inspection prior to issuing you a credit.  Marine Electronic and Electrical items that are returned for credit are always subject to inspection by the manufacturer and/or distributor prior to credit being issued for the return.  Because the inspection process takes time, please allow 3-4 weeks from the time we receive your return for us to credit your account.

After 30 days, all sales are final.  Should you experience a problem with any product purchased from us after 30 days, we will gladly assist you with any applicable warranty claims with the manufacturer.


All items purchased from are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.  We are unable to initiate claims for goods damaged in transit.  It is your responsibility to initiate claims for orders damaged during shipment.  All claims must be placed with the carrier within five days of your delivery date. Please open packages immediately. Retain all damaged packaging for inspection by the carrier.

Cancel Unshipped Items

You can also cancel unshipped non-custom items. To do that, send an e-mail to Include your order number and the part number(s) of the item(s) you wish to cancel. Orders for custom-made items such as rigging, spinnaker poles and sails may not be canceled once the order is in production.  These items require various lead times to manufacture, and may require pre-payment or a non-refundable deposit prior to production.  Please call us toll free at 1-877-379-2248 for specific details and terms for special orders.


We will tell you honestly what to expect, rather than disappoint you with broken promises and failed delivery.   Given the nature of the Marine Industry, it is impossible for any vendor or manufacturer to maintain a 100% fill rate.

Most of the products available in our catalog are readily available and ship promptly.  If there is a backorder problem, we will notify you and provide an estimated shipping date.

International Orders

You are responsible for any duty, VAT or other non-shipping charges incurred in the destination country.  International duties and taxes are never included in the invoice for your order.  If you refuse delivery of an international order, you will be responsible for any fees associated with your order being returned to us, and could be responsible for the duties and/or taxes even if the order is returned to us.  We are never responsible for the freight cost associated with returning International orders, even in the event the item is unusable due to a manufacturing defect.  All International orders placed directly require pre-payment via Certified Check or Wire Transfer.

As a service to our International customers who would prefer to use a credit card, we are now affiliated with Access USA.  This service allows you to apply for a US billing and shipping address.  Once you receive your Access USA address, contact your credit card company and add it as a secondary ship-to or secondary billing address. Now, when you make purchases from us, your shipping address will match your records on file with the credit card company.  All credit card companies should allow you to add the secondary address. If you encounter any difficulties, we suggest you speak to a manager at the card company.


Product descriptions, typographic, pricing and photographic errors are unintentional and subject to correction. We regret, but are not liable for, incorrect photos or typographical errors.  We reserve the right to refuse any order, for any reason.

Minimum Orders

There are no minimum orders. Orders under $100.00 dollars are, however, subject to a $10.00 handling charge.
