The easiest way to determine the correct dimensions for your new PC mainsail is to take the measurements of your existing mainsail, and choose a similar sail from our selection.

In most cases, this method will work without a problem.

Should you decide to use your existing sail to determine the dimensions of your new sail, we strongly encourage you to measure your boat as well.   Knowing the dimensions of your existing sail is an excellent start towards selecting the correct PC sail, but it does not guarantee the best possible fit. 

Even if you are sure that a sail from our selection will fit your boat, please take a few minutes to review our measurement hints and procedures.  It will help you eliminate any concern about how your new main will fit the boat.

Please be aware of the fact that most luff ropes will shrink significantly over time, which could produce measurements somewhat shorter than ideal for your new sail.
